you just know that insanely powerful miracle aziraphale and crowley conjured to hide gabriel scared the absolute shit out of the metatron. if given the time to really think it over, there’s no way crowley wouldn’t have puzzled out that together he and aziraphale managed one of the most wickedly powerful miracles ever— while they were actively trying NOT to conjure a wickedly powerful miracle. can you imagine what they could have done if they’d actually put in some effort?? the metatron was PANICKED. he was in such a fit he elevatored all the way down to earth to break them up PERSONALLY.
